Of course, I usually end up picking up a cool pair of earrings for myself, too! When buying a jewelry gift, I try to buy an earring and necklace set, or big earrings and a bracelet, or earrings and a ring. Select the jewelry items you know your best friend likes a lot and wears the most. But remember, make sure the jewelry gift is not too “matchy-matchy”. The items can be the same color (or a hue of the color) and have some of the same beads, but they make for a much more interesting set if they coordinate (or look different but good together), and not match perfectly. Choose interesting shapes and a combination of beads, pearls and/or pendants. Find something that matches her personal style. Funky jewelry gifts that are similar to the type of jewelry she currently wears--vintage or contemporary—gold or silver, yet are a little different.
Perhaps, the jewelry items are a different color combination, or the beads or pendants are a little larger than what she typically wears. Funk it up a bit!
