Jewelry Boxes Make Wonderful Gifts for
Best Friends!

Jewelry boxes are fun to give! I especially like the one in the picture just above this...a very sharp looking, contemporary style! Make sure to check out the one your gift recipient is currently using to see if she likes a traditional or more contemporary style jewelry box. Or sometimes, the type of jewelry she wears will be a strong indication of her style.

The little black jewelry box that I bought one of my friend's was a big hit. The store had it in both black and a pretty bright pink. It was approximately 3” x 5”, all leather, and had a few drawers for rings, earrings and a bracelet or two. The top portion could fit 3 or 4 necklaces, and it had a little handle for carrying.

I didn’t know if my friend already had a regular-sized one, but if she did, I thought this would be a great accompaniment on her dresser, perhaps even for “special” jewelry. It was cute and compact, and looked like her style. Although I really liked the bright baby pink color, I decided to be safe and go with the black one.

“I love it,” she exclaimed when she opened it, “but how did you know I needed a little jewelry box for traveling?” The portable nature of the gift hadn’t even crossed my mind. A great gift for best friends, or for any woman that travels alot! Maybe I should go back and get one for myself!
